What is Biblically-Responsible Investing?

For many years, socially-conscious investors have utilized a powerful investing tool known as Values-Based Investing to, as the saying goes, "put their money where their mouth is."

Now several years later, the Christian community is getting an opportunity to do the same thing through a new industry niche called Biblically-Responsible Investing (BRI).

Christians have begun to realize that the stocks, Mutual Funds, ETFs and Variable Annuities in their investment portfolios represent their ownership in the underlying companies - that they literally own part of every business held in their portfolio, whether directly or indirectly.  And that, through that ownership, they are profiting from the company's immoral business activities.

BRI allows individual investors an opportunity to align their portfolios with their personal values and beliefs - thus avoiding any financial profit from morally-objectionable business pursuits.

Practitioners of BRI provide screening services to their clients.  The screening process gives investors an opportunity to screen out or avoid companies who are involved in the abortion, p0rnography, gambling, tobacco or alcohol industries, and an opportunity to avoid companies who are supportive of anti-Christian ideals such as h0mo5exuality.  On the positive side, BRI provides investors an opportunity to invest in companies that most closely resemble their own values system.
